Oglebay Festival of Lights – Wheeling, West Virginia

The Oglebay Festival of Lights is one of the largest and most popular Christmas light displays in West Virginia! Festival of Lights is 6-mile drive-through Christmas light display at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia. Oglebay’s light display continues to grow each year! In addition to viewing the lights, you can visit the Good Zoo for a laser show and photos with Santa. Or extend your stay and book one of Oglebay’s overnight packages.

Dates: November 10, 2022 – January 8, 2023

Time: Nightly from dusk to midnight, including holidays

Holiday in the Park – Parkersburg, West Virginia

Visitors can drive through two of Parkersburg, West Virginia’s city parks decorated for the holidays with dazzling Christmas light displays. Make sure to check out the The Festival of Trees, which also takes place at the Blennerhassett Hotel!

Holiday of Lights- Bluefield, West Virginia

Appalachian Coal Town Christmas – Beckley, West Virginia

Appalachian Coal Town Christmas is a two-weekend event at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine! Learn about West Virginia coal mining history and enjoy guided underground tours, a marshmallow roast, caroling in the church, and an ice-skating rink! The site will be decorated with Christmas lights and decorations! Get some holiday shopping done at the gift shop or the craft vendors who will be on site!
