If you’re looking for a low-price, high-quality hotel in Europe, the Hotel ibis chain is the way to go!

While in Paris this summer, we stayed at the Hotel ibis Clichy-Batignolles. The hotel featured a gym, bar, restaurant, breakfast room, and was in a good location. Located in the up and coming Clichy-Batignolles eco-district, the hotel was close to restaurants, a grocery store, cafes, and the subway stop, Porte la Clichy. With access to the subway, we could get anywhere in the city in decent time. It would have been nice to be closer to city center; however, given the lower cost and our satisfaction with the hotel, it was great for our budget and needs. The hotel is off a side street and hidden, which made us feel very safe.

The View from Our Room

Our room for two was small but did the job for three nights in the city. There were two twin beds, a television, free wifi, air conditioning, and private bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
